An Excellent 2016 Annual Meeting

Thanks very much to all who attended our Annual Meeting at the Endicott Estate in Dedham!

Approximately 100 people turned up to hear MA Department of Conservation and Recreation Commissioner, Leo Roy, discuss his vision for the future of the department.

Friends of the Neponset mingled in the grand 19th century mansion and enjoyed delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres by Cypress Catering.

Awards were given to Milton DPW Superintendent, Joseph Lynch and Milton Selectman, Thomas Hurley, for their pioneering work in promoting a new stormwater bylaw and utility in their town.

In the Boston Bulletin, June 16, 2016, page 7, staff reporter Christopher Robinson provides an excellent quasi-transcript with several quotes from DCR Commissioner Leo Roy’s June 8, speech to the members at the annual meeting of the Neponset River Watershed Association.

Hi Neponset RWA, any chance DCR Commissioner Leo Roy’s remarks are available in transcript form?

    Thanks,

    Eric Olson
