Reducing Stormwater Pollution in the Neponset

Through grants and partnerships with local communities, we are working to reduce polluted stormwater runoff throughout the watershed.

When rain falls on hard surfaces, it washes bacterial and chemical pollutants into storm drains, and then flows – untreated – to local waterways.  We are committed to reducing this pollution through a variety of methods, including building of BMPs and public education.

Our projects include:

Dedham BMP sites

Stoughton/Gibbon School Rain Gardens

Soak up the Rain/Xaverian Brothers High School Project
